    MANAGEMENT BODIES

    The USCC Association has two main governing bodies: the General Meeting of the Association and the Board of Directors.

    The General Meeting of the Association (the General Meeting) is the supreme governing body.

    Its main task is to solve strategic issues of the Association.

    The General Meeting approves the strategy and objectives of the USCC, issues of admission of new members, formation of governing bodies (the Board of Directors), procedure for funding, approval of the annual report.

    The General Meeting of the Association is attended by:

    • full members of the Association (they have the right to vote at the General Meeting);

    • associate members (partners who do not have the right to vote);

    • third parties and lecturers invited by the Executive Director (they do not have the right to vote).

    The Board of Directors of the USCC carries out strategical management of the USCC activities and represents members of the Association. The Board of Directors consists of 8 representatives of member companies of the Association and is elected by annual vote.

    The core powers of the Board of Directors include: development and adjustment of the strategy, approval of the KPI for the management of the USCC, determination of the major measures for the next financial year, reconciliation of the USCC budget, recommendation of candidates for membership in the USCC. The Board of Directors also reviews the results of the work of the management of the USCC on a quarterly basis and approves plans.

    The Chairman who is elected from among the current members of the Board of Directors is responsible for the organization of activities and declarations in the activities of the Board.

    The Board of Directors of the USCC is selected on the following principle:

    • Members representing manufacturers and distributors of rolled steel products.

    • Members representing sector design organizations and engineering companies, installation enterprises.

    • Members representing manufacturers of load-bearing metal structures.

    • Members representing manufacturers of enclosing and roofing steel structures.

    Thus, the Board of Directors represents the interests of all participants in the value chain in steel construction:

    PRODUCTION OF ROLLED STEEL PRODUCTS → DISTRIBUTION → DESIGN → MANUFACTURE OF METAL STRUCTURES (LOAD-BEARING AND ENCLOSING) → INSTALLATION.

    Members of the Board of Directors perform representative functions of the USCC, promoting steel solutions as a priority material in the implementation of real estate projects through creating effective and innovative solutions for steel structures for developers in Ukraine.

    The Board of Directors carries out activities aimed at increasing the awareness and reputation of the USCC in the professional environment of industry participants.
